Under huge skies, Twilight#16 takes off!

The Twilight Runway Challenge - the sixteenth running of CMP's flagship fundraiser since its inception in 2010 - took off from Blackbushe Airport on 12 September. In perfect conditions, almost 700 participants, cheered on by hundreds more, joined together to run, walk, wheel and - as is now traditional at Twilight - hula-hooped the runways beneath a glorious late summer sun, raising tens of thousands of pounds for an array of charities and good causes.

CMP's Hannah Breen, who managed the event, was thrilled (and exhausted!): 'This is my first Twilight - and what an experience it has been!

To see so many people here today is just brilliant.

So many in the community have stepped out to support today and help make it happen - school children, the elderly, parents with babies, people of all abilities, business leaders, local councillors, T-shirted teams, our generous sponsors, so many charities, an army of volunteers, the entire CMP Board of Trustees... it's just amazing!'
