It's that exciting time of year! The fantastic summer is moving forward, and soon it will be back to school as autumn swiftly approaches... but don't worry! There's no reason for those post-heatwave blues because the start of September brings us closer to the annual highlight: the Twilight Runway Challenge at Blackbushe Airport!
Get ready for an exciting event on 12 September at five o'clock! The 16th edition of this incredible event is just around the corner, and it has come a long way since a small group of daring participants gathered at Farnborough Airport in 2010 to race around the runways! Since then, thousands of miles have been covered by our ever-enthusiastic participants.
This is a truly special and vibrant occasion – genuinely inclusive, wonderfully family-friendly, and deeply rooted in the community. Not only is participation fantastic for your wellbeing and health, but many also join in to raise funds for countless worthy causes. Since 2010, over half a million pounds has been raised which is fantastic news for the many beneficiaries and crucial for ensuring CMP can continue offering its community programmes throughout the year.
You can easily sign up in advance through the website (www.twilightchallenge.co.uk), but feel free to check the weather and join us on the day! There's plenty of free parking at Blackbushe, and you can enjoy delicious refreshments at the Pathfinder café.
