Roll out the red carpet - lights, camera, action: its Oscars night at Farnborough International as an all-star cast battled it out to be crowned 'Best CMP Quiz Team, 2024'!
Storm Bert may have been limbering up to steal the scene but in the hall it was party time as 18 teams competed for the coveted CMP Oscar trophy, each desperate to avoid the dreaded wooden spoon.
During a colourful, fun-packed evening, the intrepid quizzers rubbed shoulders with Marilyn, Audrey and a host of Hollywood super-stars.
Special awards went to Leapfrog Marketing, clear winners in the 'Best Dressed Team' category..... consolation for Geoff 'Darth' Roy after his crushing defeat in last year's fancy dress competition.....

..... whilst this pair of Buddies from Signwrite Studios snaffled the award for 'Best Dressed Individuals'
Congratulations go to glamourous starlet Lucy Bucknell from Happiful who fought her way magnificently through the rounds to walk away with first prize in a tightly fought 'Heads & Tails' contest.....

Over 160 people were present, helping to generate much-needed funds for the Charity: the £3,000 from the raffle will go towards supporting the next phase of the CMP RAISE programme.

Big winners on the night were our newcomers, the team from GSS, skilfully led by captain Asha Tamang, proudly scooped the much-sought after Wooden Spoon.....
..... whilst on this glitzy, starry night the 101 minus 95 Dalmatians from UK Connect were crowned Movie Quiz Champions for 2024.
Kate Hurst accepted the prestigious Award on behalf of her team mates.
