Fluor named as headline sponsors of the Twilight Runway Challenge

Our Twilight Runway Challenge would not be possible without the generous support from local businesses as sponsors, which helps to cover the event costs and enables 100% of fundraising to go to local causes.  We are delighted to confirm that one of the headline sponsors for this year’s event is Fluor, which provides engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services that are the essential building blocks for development and progress.  Natalie Winter reveals "Having been based locally since 1990, Fluor Ltd, a global engineering, procurement and construction company, is honoured to be one of the headline sponsors for the Twilight Runway Challenge and contribute to supporting vital charity work."

This unique event returns on Saturday 11th September, where people can run, walk, cycle, scoot or skateboard along 3km, 5km or 10km of the airstrip of Blackbushe Airport, taking part for fun or raising funds for a local charity or school of their choice.

It is open to all ages and attracts a wide variety of participants, from people looking to get fit, beating a personal best to those wanting to have fun with friends, family or colleagues.

The event is fortunate to have a diverse array of charity partners from across Surrey, Hampshire and Berkshire.
Doug Pickering from Samaritans of Farnborough & District reveals “We are completely funded by donations and it costs £5 to answer a call for help from someone in crisis. Being a charity partner of the Twilight Runway Challenge will help to ensure that we can continue to work within our local community”.
