CMPP Grants

Youth Aspirations Fund (YAF)

Throughout the year, Partners and Associates of CMPP will embark on a series of employee-led fundraising events to raise money for the Youth Aspiration Fund.

The Youth Aspirations Fund will then provide grants to voluntary, community and individual organisations in Rushmoor who raise aspirations and encourage progression in local young people.

About the Youth Aspirations Fund (YAF)

CMPP will offer grants of between £500 and £2000 to organisations who are able to demonstrate unique ways and ideas for projects that raise aspirations and promote progression in young people.

Organisations can use the grant for one-off projects, equipment or resources but the grant funding cannot be used to pay for projects that already exist, transport or overhead costs.

Alongside the financial support, organisations can also directly apply for skilled or non-skilled employee-volunteers to support your concept or idea.

Who can apply for a grant?

We will consider applications from voluntary organisations, community groups, schools, colleges and charities or individual project ideas.

Your headquarters does not have to be in Rushmoor but you must be able to show that what you do benefits the young people of Rushmoor and surroundings.

How we assess grant applications

The CMPP Strategic Group of businesses, will score grants based on the following criteria:

  • The contribution to the local community and particularly to young people
  • Clearly demonstrates the benefits this project would offer young people
  • Clear outcomes of the project
  • Good value for money
  • What the money will be used for
  • Uniqueness of the ideas
  • Sustainability

In particular we will look at how the project will:

  • Raise aspirations in young people
  • Encourage individuals to be the best they can be
  • Motivate and inspire young people towards success

How to apply for a community grant

The YAF grant will open in October of each year for applications. It takes us around 12-months of fundraising to re-fill the grant pot.

What happens once you've applied for a grant?

We will contact you to let you know we've received your application.

Part of the funding requirements will include providing us with a case study, detailing what the grant funding achieved.

You may also be asked to come in and talk about the project at a special end of year celebration event. You will need to provide receipts for spend and display the CMPP logo on any marketing or publicity associated to this project. Your project will need to be completed within 12-months of gaining the grant funding.

The YAF will close on the 14th of November.
